Tabs, Back and Forward
The window works like a browser's now. Back and Forward remember where a view has been, and tabs keep several places open at once, each with its own way back.

Tentanote now has tabs, and Back and Forward buttons. Let me show you how it works. Imagine I'm getting ready for Burning Man, so I'll open its board. The packing list is on it. Let me open that. Back takes me to the board, and Forward brings the list back. Hold Back, and there's the way I came. I'll jump straight to My Universe.
I'm planning the kitchen too. Right-click it, choose Open in New Tab, and it gets a tab of its own. Each tab keeps its own way back. In this one, Forward still goes to Burning Man.
Command-T opens another tab, and I'll open a few more of my spaces. When there are too many to fit, the tabs turn into icons, and only the active tab stays full size, with its name. To switch, I click an icon, and that tab becomes the active one, full size again.
Close a tab with its X, or with Command-W. Closing the app won't close your tabs, though. Tomorrow, every tab is where you left it, with its way back.
